Yes. The introductory demo is free and does not commit you to a pilot. If you want to evaluate Lectora with your institution, we agree the pilot's scope, duration, support and price separately before you commit.

Can I see Lectora grade my actual exam?

We can scope an evaluation using Canvas assignments or quizzes, or exams and candidate responses imported through the production Inspera integration. Your institution first approves the data use and connection. Where prior examiner scores are available, you can compare them with Lectora's drafts. The material and schedule are agreed in advance; a full cohort is not promised during one call. WISEflow is not built yet.

Does Lectora work with Inspera or WISEflow?

Inspera is a production integration: an administrator registers the connection, and exams and candidate responses can be imported for assessment in Lectora. Publishing results back to Inspera is not available. The Inspera page explains the scope. WISEflow remains on the roadmap, with no connection or exam import built yet. If you use WISEflow, tell us in the request so we can discuss an integration partnership; see its current status.

What do I need to set up before the demo?

An introductory walkthrough needs no Canvas installation. For an evaluation using real student work, agree institutional approval, processing terms and assessment scope first. Canvas can connect through an institutional LTI installation or an agreed Personal Access Token pilot. A PAT connection does not replace institutional approval. Canvas access and data handling describes permissions, storage, retention and deletion.

Who from Lectora will run the demo?

A founder or a senior teammate who can also be involved in a subsequent pilot. You can discuss the rubric, assessment workflow and integration scope with the person running the session.

Can my colleagues join the demo?

Yes. Invite course coordinators, department leads, IT staff, data-protection officers or others involved in evaluating the workflow. Tell us who is joining and what they want to cover when we arrange the session.

How can I evaluate Lectora with my own rubric?

Request access and tell us what you teach, which assessment you want to evaluate and which system you use. We agree a demo or pilot scope with you and your institution. The website demo shows an illustrative workflow; using real student work requires an agreed connection and data-handling terms. You review the drafts, and a qualified examiner approves every grade before publication.

What does a Lectora demo include?

The website demo lets you explore an illustrative assessment workflow. It does not connect to your course or grade real student work. An arranged session lets you discuss that workflow with the team and decide whether to evaluate Lectora using your own rubric and assessment material.

For an agreed live evaluation, we walk through score drafts, reasons and written feedback, plus the assignment's score distribution and summary statistics. You review and edit the drafts against your criteria. A qualified examiner approves every grade; reviewed grades and comments can be published to Canvas when you choose. The session does not automatically publish results to students.

How long does a demo take?

We agree the session length when arranging the demo, based on the workflow and questions you want to cover. A broader evaluation of a rubric or cohort may need a separate pilot. Setup and processing time depend on the institution's connection and the assessment material, so a completed grading run is not promised within a fixed call duration.

What do you need from me to prepare?

For an introductory walkthrough, tell us about your course, assessment and system. You do not need to connect student data to have that conversation.

For a live evaluation, your institution first approves the use of student work and agrees the Data Processing Agreement and relevant access arrangements. Select the assessment, rubric and course material; an assessment with existing examiner scores can support a comparison. Canvas uses an LTI installation or an agreed PAT pilot. The Canvas access page documents what each connection can read and write, with provider details on the subprocessor list.

What happens after the demo?

We discuss what the workflow demonstrated, any limitations and whether a further evaluation would be useful. An institutional pilot is scoped separately: course, assessment material, connection, duration, support and price are agreed before it begins.

Drafts remain subject to examiner review and approval. Canvas publication is a deliberate next step when you are ready. For Inspera-imported work, review happens in Lectora; publishing results back to Inspera is not available. You can also decide that no further evaluation is needed.
